Overview
All Trial Moderators are required to complete a one-week trial period before becoming eligible for promotion to Moderator. Upon successfully passing their training or interview, the staff member will receive the Trial Moderator rank and be placed on a Zero Tolerance Period (ZTP) lasting one week. The staff member will be notified when their trial period begins. During this period, Trial Moderators will be closely monitored to determine whether they are suitable for a permanent position within the FSRP Staff Team.Expectations
Trial Moderators are expected to:- Demonstrate effective communication and professionalism.
- Be efficient and proactive while on duty.
- Follow all staff guidelines and procedures.
- Ask fellow staff members or higher-ranking staff for assistance when unsure of a moderation or staffing decision.
Trial Requirements
To successfully pass the Trial Moderator phase, you must:- Complete your assigned quota during the first full quota cycle following your hire date.
- Maintain a satisfactory standard of conduct with minimal to no infractions throughout the trial period.
- Remain fully active: You are not permitted to request or go on a Leave of Absence (LOA) until you have successfully passed your trial period.
Note: Trial Moderators hired after Monday are exempt from quota requirements for their first quota cycle.
Zero Tolerance Period (ZTP)
During your one-week Zero Tolerance Period, your activity, conduct, and performance will be reviewed by management. The purpose of the ZTP is to ensure that all Trial Moderators:- Understand and follow staff procedures.
- Are capable of handling moderation responsibilities.
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the staff team.
- Meet the standards expected of an FSRP staff member.

Failure to complete your required quota during the Trial Moderator phase may result in immediate termination from the staff team.Excessive Infractions
If a Trial Moderator meets quota but accumulates an unacceptable number of infractions during the trial period, management may extend the trial period by an additional week. During any extended trial period, the Trial Moderator must again:- Complete their quota requirements.
- Maintain minimal to no infractions.
- Meet all staff expectations.
Promotion
Upon successfully completing the trial period and meeting all requirements, the Trial Moderator will be promoted to Moderator.This document is confidential and is not to be leaked or shared with anyone outside of the Florida State Roleplay staff team.
