Overview

The 50/50 system is a staff privilege that allows members to temporarily operate under adjusted duty expectations while continuing to perform moderation responsibilities. This privilege is strictly regulated and may be revoked at any time for misuse or failure to comply with requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

To request 50/50, staff members must:
  • Have completed at least 50% of their quota for their assigned rank.
  • Be in good standing with no active serious disciplinary action.
  • Follow all standard staff rules and expectations.
Anyone meeting these requirements is permitted to request 50/50.

Request Cooldown

  • Staff may only request 50/50 once every 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • The cooldown begins immediately after the previous 50/50 period ends.

Chain of Command

When requesting 50/50 approval:
  1. Ping a member of Internal Affairs (IA).
  2. If no response is received within 5 minutes, ping another IA member.
  3. Continue until all available IA members have been contacted, excluding those on Leave of Absence (LoA).

Responsibilities While on 50/50

Being on 50/50 does not remove staff duties. While active on 50/50, you are still required to:
  • Respond to all mod calls.
  • Act professionally at all times.
  • Follow all standard staff rules.
  • Use common sense in all situations.
50/50 does not mean inactivity or reduced responsibility.

Break Time Rule

  • Break time still counts toward the 50/50 timer.
  • If you go on break during your 50/50 period, the timer does not pause.

Performance Expectations

Staff on 50/50 must continue to perform effectively.
  • If the server is chaotic and you are not fulfilling your duties:
    • You may be blacklisted from 50/50.
    • You may receive a strike.
    • Your recorded time may be wiped.

Abuse of 50/50

Abusing the 50/50 system in any way is strictly prohibited. Examples of abuse include:
  • Ignoring mod calls while on 50/50.
  • Using 50/50 as an excuse to avoid duties.
  • Misrepresenting activity or quota progress.
  • Failing to follow IA instructions.

Punishments for Abuse

  • Strike
  • Blacklist from 50/50
  • Possible termination (depending on severity)

Important Notes

  • All staff rules still fully apply while on 50/50.
  • Staff are expected to use common sense at all times.
  • IA+ may deny or revoke 50/50 at their discretion.
