Overview

All staff commands are issued strictly as a moderation tool. They are designed to assist staff members in managing the server effectively and maintaining order. Commands are not to be used for personal use, experimentation, or non-moderation-related purposes.

Proper Usage

Staff commands may only be used for legitimate moderation actions, including but not limited to:
  • Enforcing server rules
  • Responding to moderation situations
  • Assisting with active incidents
  • Supporting administrative duties when required
Any usage outside of these purposes is considered misuse.

Misuse of Commands

Using staff commands outside of their intended scope is strictly prohibited. Examples include (but are not limited to):
  • Using commands for personal convenience
  • Interfering with players without valid moderation reason
  • Testing or experimenting without permission
  • Using commands in roleplay or non-moderation scenarios

Enforcement

Any misuse of commands may result in immediate disciplinary action, including:
  • Infractions without prior warning
  • Removal of command permissions
  • Demotion
  • Termination from the staff team
Severe abuse may result in immediate termination without hesitation.

Exceptional Use Cases

In rare and clearly justified situations, commands may be used outside of standard moderation purposes. These cases must:
  • Be necessary
  • Be reasonable
  • Not violate staff expectations
Such usage will not typically result in punishment; however, these situations are expected to be extremely uncommon.

Off-Duty Command Usage

When off duty, staff members are only permitted to use the following commands:
  • :killlogs (kl)
  • :logs
  • :pm
  • :log vc ()
  • ;vc ()
  • :refresh (self-use only)
    • May be used on others when explicitly permitted or requested
  • stopfire
  • stopdumpsterfire
  • startfire
  • startnearfire

Important Notice

Commands are a tool for moderation, not a privilege for personal use. Any staff member found abusing commands will face disciplinary action, including removal of permissions or termination depending on severity.
