# Priority System

## Overview

The **Priority System** is used to regulate high-level roleplay scenarios such as robberies, hostage situations, and other structured events that require staff supervision.

All staff must use **good judgement and common sense** when handling priority requests.

***

## Request Process

Players must request a priority using the **FSRP Utilities bot**:

1. Use the command `/priority request`
2. Complete the required form
3. The request will be posted in the **Priority Request** channel
4. On-duty staff will be pinged to accept or deny the request

***

## Valid Priority Scenarios

A priority request is required for the following scenarios:

* Bank Robbery
* Hostage Situation
* Road Work
* Kidnapping

This list is not exhaustive; staff may approve other scenarios at their discretion.

***

## Denial Reasons

A priority request may be denied for reasons including (but not limited to):

* Requested time exceeds **25 minutes**
* The scenario does not require priority supervision
* Insufficient SRT / WL LEO presence
* Server is chaotic or experiencing active trolling
* Lack of available staff to supervise

Staff are expected to use **common sense and situational judgement** when deciding whether to approve or deny a request.

***

## Supervision Rules

* Only **one staff member** is required per priority scene.
* Multiple staff members should not supervise the same priority unless explicitly needed.
* The staff member who accepts the priority is responsible for supervising the entire scene.

***

## Priority Timer

* The maximum priority duration is **25 minutes**
* Staff may extend the timer if:

  * The scene is disrupted (e.g. RDMers)
  * The scene needs to be restarted for valid reasons

### Timer Command

To set a priority timer in-game:

```
:prty 1500
```

***

## Staff Expectations

While handling a priority, staff must:

* Supervise the entire scenario appropriately
* Ensure rules are followed by all participants
* Use discretion when extending or restarting scenes
* Avoid overstaffing a single scenario

***

## Important Notes

* Staff have full discretion to deny or approve priorities based on server conditions.
* Common sense must always be applied.
* Priority misuse or poor judgement may result in disciplinary action.
